Maintenance of electric forklift:
1. Replenish the battery with water promptly after use, and allow the electronic control and motor to cool down naturally while charging.
2. After 4-6 hours of continuous operation, it is recommended to stop the vehicle and let it cool down naturally in a ventilated place for about 45 minutes before use.
3. There is a lot of rain in summer, so avoid running in the open and wading in rainy days.
Maintenance of internal combustion forklifts:
1. Pay attention to the tension of the belt and avoid being too loose or too tight.
2. Pay special attention to battery maintenance. In summer, the water in the electrolyte evaporates easily. You should check the liquid level and add distilled water in a timely manner.
3. When boiling the engine coolant, be careful to avoid turning off the engine immediately or adding coolant. Keep the engine running at a medium speed, release steam, and then cool down before adding coolant.
4. Pay attention to the tire pressure. In summer, the temperature is high. You should check the tire pressure regularly to prevent the air pressure from being too low or too high.
Routine maintenance of forklifts also includes:
Clean the dirt and mud from the forklift, check the tightening condition, and check the reliability and flexibility of the steering gear.
Check for leaks, especially pipe joints, fuel tanks, brake pumps, etc.
Check the tire pressure to make sure there are no leaks, and check the condition of the tires and rims.
Check the brake fluid and water levels to ensure they are within the scale to prevent air or water from being mixed in.
Check the engine oil volume, hydraulic oil, and electrolyte to ensure that the oil level is within the appropriate range
Through these summer-specific maintenance measures, you can effectively protect the forklift, reduce the adverse effects of high temperature, and ensure that the forklift can work safely and efficiently in the summer.
